Meet Melissa Lloyd

Why this work matters

As the founder of Aigility Hub, I consult with organizations of all shapes and sizes to deliver clarity surrounding AI. Put another way, I help you know what you don’t know. AI success takes an equal measure of business IQ and EQ. As both a business owner and mindset author, I find the best solutions for leadership teams are practical solutions. What works, works best.

My 25 years in business development and public speaking has given me joy training thousands of entrepreneurs, not-for-profit organizations and SMBs. Delivering national programming for Futurpreneur Canada and partnering with organizations like CBDC, LearnSphere, and Invest Nova Scotia is how I continue to help Canadians transform the way they work.

The story behind Aigility Hub

Change is rarely a technology problem.
It’s a human one.

Most leaders I work with know AI is coming for every part of their business. Some are curious. Some are cautious. Many are quietly worried about getting it wrong.

They worry about moving too fast.
They worry about losing trust.
They worry about asking their teams to adopt something they don’t fully understand themselves.

That tension is where my work begins.

When I first started exploring AI, I assumed success would come from learning the tools. But the deeper I went, the clearer it became. The real barrier wasn’t technology. It was mindset, confidence, and the absence of a shared way to make decisions.

Everything shifted when I stopped treating AI as a tool problem and started treating it as a leadership and change challenge.

By grounding AI exploration in mindset work, foundational literacy, and proven change management principles, I was able to move from cautious experimentation to confident, intentional use. The impact was practical and measurable. Time reclaimed. Processes strengthened. Space created for strategic thinking instead of constant reaction.

“AI doesn’t fail because of technology.
It fails because people aren’t ready.”

That experience became the foundation of what I now call AI Readiness.

AI Readiness is not about being “AI-first.”
It’s about being prepared.

Prepared to make good decisions.
Prepared to set boundaries.
Prepared to lead people through uncertainty with clarity and care.

This work is not new for me. It builds on more than 25 years of helping people navigate change.

In my early career, I worked in communication design, translating complex ideas so they could be understood and acted on. Later, through Doodle Breaks, I coached leaders in emotional intelligence using creativity and mindfulness, helping them build self-awareness, resilience, and trust.

Today, through Aigility Hub, that same thread continues. I work with founders and leadership teams who know AI matters but don’t want hype, shortcuts, or fear-driven decisions. They want to move forward thoughtfully, protect their values, and create real momentum without losing their people in the process.

Along the way, I’ve partnered with organizations including Disney, Adobe, RBC, Pfizer, and Aviva. Different contexts. Same core challenge. Helping humans adapt when the world shifts.

Aigility Hub’s work now centers on our flagship AI Readiness Accelerator. A six-week program designed to help leadership teams move beyond scattered experimentation and build the clarity, confidence, and systems needed for sustainable AI adoption.

Because AI doesn’t fail due to lack of tools.
It fails when people aren’t supported through change.

If you’re asking, “Where do we even start?”
You’re not behind.
You’re in the right place.

What leaders say after working with Melissa

The thought of AI scared me to death. Here was something that, at first glance, seemed destined to replace my business. Faster and for free no less. So, I decided to face my fears head on and dove straight into a masterclass – giving me a comprehensive understanding of the potential for Artificial Intelligence in business.

It’s a journey that helped me realize that AI’s true power is its uncanny ability to make a whole number of processes exponentially smoother. All to help us be a whole lot better at we do. By reducing the strain of some of the more tiresome tasks of my day-to-day, I quickly realized I could do the job of two Melissas!

More importantly, I took the time I used to catch up on work, to spend with my family. I’m proud to say I haven’t picked up my phone on a weekend since May 2023. This is my hope for you too.

A simple, yet comprehensive, understanding of AI is bound to unlock more ways to find greater efficiencies in your work life. And, because time is money, that’s means you’ll have a whole lot more to spend on those you love.

A lifelong passion.

For as long as I can remember, I've been captivated by design and communications. My passion naturally led me down the path of entrepreneurship to create products that not only look good but feel good too.

The Entrepreneurial Whirlwind.

Running a business is fulfilling but far from a breeze. I know the weight of constant stress, the worry about finances, and the battle to keep everything afloat. I’ve juggled it all and often wondered if there was a better way. Now it’s here

A Chance Meeting in Costa Rica

Fate works in mysterious ways. During 2022 our family went on a 9-month family excursion in the lush landscapes of Costa Rica. I crossed paths with an entrepreneur who introduced me to Chat GPT and the world of AI. Skeptical but intrigued, this random encounter sent me down a rabbit hole I never expected.

AI as a Business Ally

Instead of clashing with my creativity, AI became a harmonious extension of it. Efficiency soared, stress lessened, and I continue to find the work-life balance that had been eluding me. AI didn’t just make me agile; it made me resilient and forward-thinking.

The Mission Forward

Today, I’m committed to guiding other entrepreneurs, business owners, and curiosity-seekers through the agile approach to AI. I know the reservations you may have, but I also know the boundless opportunities that come with being agile in this AI-driven world.

Embracing AI

That's when it hit me: Agility. Once I understood my own AI Mindset™️, I decided to make the change and approach AI as an agile entrepreneur would—open, flexible, and adaptive. I began integrating AI into my daily operations in small sprints, quickly realizing its ability to make me more agile in my decision-making, more dynamic in my strategies, and, believe it or not, more human in my interactions.

Making Friends with AI

I delved headlong into AI, juggling curiosity with caution. AI felt like a new universe—vast and exciting but also intimidating. I plunged fearlessly into the world of AI, balancing my innate curiosity against a backdrop of caution. The realm of AI seemed expansive and thrilling, yet its complexity was daunting. Concerns about its societal ramifications and potential for job loss initially held me back. However, as I delved deeper, I realized that the key obstacle was my own mindset.
